Scholarship a EFL Member monthly so a student who does not have the ability to pay for all the services that EFL offers will be able to be a part of EFL and help them continue in their leadership or personal growth. SUMMER Leadership CAMPS with EFL's Partner Outdoor Adventure Center
Your 12-17 year old will LOVE our Outdoor Adventure Leadership Camp!
This 7-day overnight camp gives your young explorer the opportunity to
hike, swim, bike, camp, and explore! We'll spend much of the week
enjoying the Wild Sky Wilderness and Cascade foothills. Throughout the
course, your child will be involved in a wide range of activities and
will have many opportunities to grow as a leader by assisting with
decision-making and participating in activities that are designed to
encourage leadership qualities (such as responsibility, making safe
decisions, evaluating their own strengths and that of the group, and
communicating effectively). This camp program includes many land-based
and water-based activities, and will be customized based on the specific
interests and strengths of the participants. Activities may include;
hiking, biking, swimming, rafting, sea kayaking, whitewater kayaking,
inflatable kayaking, climbing, camping, trekking, swimming, and
exploring.
Our instructors are safe, experienced, and energetic enough to supervise, teach, and challenge your young adventurer. They hold certifications in Teaching, Swiftwater Rescue, Lifeguarding, and Wilderness First Aid. Our number one priority is to keep your child safe. We also teach them to make safe, responsible decisions when exploring.
